OK, before i start , i would like to make a few things clear:

Number ONE; I am noway intending to offend any 'emo' or 'scene' movement in what i'm saying OK? I'm simply making a point about something.

TWO; I don't know the person in the first picture, nor do i have anything against her, i am using her image purely as an example., AND HER IMAGE ONLY.


Take a look at this girl.
She looks fairly nice right? Even though half her face is hidden in make up and covered with her OH-EM-GEE SO SCENE HAIR.

Let's PRETEND she's a bitch . Lets say she's this really horrid , evil girl who bitches about her friends, leaves nasty comments on peoples myspace/buzznet pages and intentionally starts up fights.

Seem at all familiar to you?

Let's just say she's not the most intelligent of people either.

Her journals consist of 3 sentences KoNsItInG oV rAnTs AbOuT hOw MuCh HeR lIfE sUcKs A$$ and what a slag her ex best friend is..

The only photo's she posts are of herself posing infront of a mirror, usually with some unoriginal form of hello kitty doll or cupcake in her hand and wearing a minimum amount of clothing.

She replies to your notes like talking to you is the most boring thing in the world.

 Yet this girls has about 500 + friends.




Now look at this girl.
She's fairly pretty, yes?

So she's not swamped in eyeliner , and her hair is her natural color.

Let's pretend she's lovely. Really, really nice. To everyone.

Let's say she's smart. That she posts great photo's. Natural ones of her and friends or something. And that she posts really great amazing journals that talk about something important.

And if you talk to her she'll bother to take some time out of her life to respond to you with something interesting.

Yet she has about i dunno, 400 less friends than the girl above.

Because she doesn't have as big hair.
